Winter
Park, an upscale college town just north of Orlando, is home to
Rollins College, the cosmopolitan Park Avenue shopping district,
three world-class museums, and the venerable Winter Park Art Festival.
It was popular in the late 1800s as a retreat for wealthy New Englanders
and has kept much of its charm with gracious homes, canopies of
oak trees, and miles of brick streets. |

The
quaint town of Clermont is located amidst rolling hills on the
far western edge of the Metro-Orlando area, just over the border
into Lake County. Clermont's downtown retains a small town feel,
but the area has experienced extremely rapid growth over the past
few years. Consequently, schools, shopping, and services are working
hard to keep pace with the population explosion. Its most distinctive
feature is the Citrus Tower, a tribute to Central Florida's famed
citrus industry. |
